Dear Parent,

As a parent I understand a child's development firsthand and the struggles parents encounter in supporting their child's learning.

As a Bilingual Special Education Teacher for the past 25 years I have provided services for Early Intervention, Special Education Preschool Services and school aged children and adults (who have a disabilities) in the home, school and day program environment. I have experience evaluating children using the DAY-C II (Developmental Assessment of Young Children) test and experience providing Special Instruction, and ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services.

I have provided parent training to parents in English and Spanish. I am permanently licensed as Special Education Teacher and have a permanent bilingual certification to assist the Spanish speaking community. My training and life experience can make a difference in the lives of others and provide insight concerning Autism and other disabilities. I also have obtained from the Department of Health an approval letter to provide early intervention services.

Throughout my years of experience as a Special Educator, Residential Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and a Teacher, I have become familiar with the needs and concerns of individuals with disabilities. I have gained valuable insight while working with children and adults who have developmental, physical and emotional challenges. This experience is used to assist parents and professionals in the field of special education.
